When rearing a child there will be some challenges parents will have to deal with they may not have expected. All most every parent want their child to be obedient, intelligent, kind and to be themselves. One of the very basic things most parents don't do is listen to their child.This creates a problem because most times, the child is trying to convey to us a message but we dot here them, because we have given a command and expect it to be carried out. Consequently we get up set and start ranting this child just don't want to listen.

Now some of us are going to have children that may put it in there head, I am not going to do what I was told and make things difficult for you. When this happens we must be open to communicate differently with the child so we don't become angered, listening to our mind telling us things not helpful to the situation. But there is help and advice for single parents on how to rear their child with a few helpful tips.

Eventually the time will come when the child ask about who their mother or father is. You must respond with an answer they can understand, and as they mature they will eventually come to there own conclusion. While training your child try not to say things that will cause the child to resent you. Teach them that it is a good thing to do what is right, and let them in on making some decisions when it concerns things about them. That's one way of leading them on the path of being responsible.

While rearing a child as a single parent, bonding is very important. Don't just say you love them show them by rewarding some of the good things they do.Give them a big hug and make them feel secure around you. Do what you can with your child and they wont forget it.Many single parents know that what they put in their child in there youth will influence who they become as they grow up in life.
